LeBron James crashed a Los Angeles high school Wednesday and hung out with students. The basketball star also utilized the school’s gymnasium and trained during an impromptu session.
James showed up unannounced to Notre Dame High School, a private school in Sherman Oaks. TMZ footage showed the 32-year-old walking to the school with his wife Savannah Brinson. After entering the school gym, the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar stretched and exercised.
James, who owns a home in nearby Brentwood, appeared at the high school and led many to believe he and his wife showed up to scout the school for their 12-year-old son LeBron Jr.
This possibly confirmed rumors James is considering a move to Los Angeles. According to reports, NBA executives believed James could opt out of his contract in free agency and join the Los Angeles Lakers next summer.
The three-time NBA champion took to his media platform “UNINTERRUPTED” Wednesday and thanked Notre Dame for their hospitality. James happened to be in the area after he completed scheduled photo shoots.

“I gotta give a huge shout out Norte Dame high school. These guys this evening opened up their gymnasium and allowed me to get my work in, get on the court and strive for greatness and get better tonight. So, special shout out to the kids, the faculty, the alum, much respect, I appreciate it,” James said.
“Much respect, go Knights.”
Coach Breeze McDonald took to social media and posted a picture of the All-Star forward with Notre Dame students following his workout.
“My guys getting a good workout in at Notre Dame with my guy LeBron James #watchme #iwill,” the coach captioned the photo.
Many have speculated that James could move on to the Lakers, considering the team’s massive salary-cap space and after the team selected UCLA standout point guard Lonzo Ball in the NBA draft. James is guaranteed to join the Lakers next season, according to Lonzo Ball’s brash and outspoken father LaVar Ball.
“Let me tell you this, it would be a great fit, and LeBron is coming to L.A. What’s in Cleveland? You want to be a superstar, man. Superstar franchise,” LaVar Ball has said.
The Cavs made changes to their roster this offseason, trading Kyrie Irving to the Boston Celtics. Cleveland received Isaiah Thomas, who has been hobbled by a bad hip, as well as Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, a second round pick and the Brooklyn Nets’ unprotected 2018 first-round draft pick.
The four-time MVP, however, has been mum regarding his free agency future. James averaged 26.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 8.7 assists last season.
