SAN ANTONIO – Just two days after making San Antonio proud by impressing the likes of NBA legend Michael Jordan, Logan Gonzalez is at it again, but this time by asking Jordan: “Could Kawhi (Leonard) get buckets on Kawhi?”
In a video recorded by Gonzalez’s mom, 10-year-old Logan is seen asking Jordan what he thought about “The Kawhi Question” in front of the other young basketball players.
Jordan responded, “Can Kawhi score on Kawhi Leonard … I don’t know.”
“I would assume not. He’s a great player, probably the best in the game … he’s the best two way player in the game right now,” Jordan said.
Known as the “Kawhi Kid” at “Michael Jordan Flight School” youth camp after winning a contest while wearing a Leonard jersey, Gonzalez seems to be voicing every Spurs fan’s opinion about Leonard’s greatness.
On June 25, Spurs and NBA fans alike will recall the Jordan Brand raised the question about the Spurs’ star forward in a commercial just one day before the new NBA awards show.
“Is it his offense or is it his defense?” the Jordan Brand asked followers on its Twitter page.
However, it sounds like the question has been put to rest and Spurs fans have Gonzalez to thank for having Jordan solidify Leonard’s greatness in front of hundreds of kids and parents at his camp.
